Milava features
One family plan, built around the care you actually use.
Start with daycare and school, a caregiver or nanny, or both. Milava brings the schedule, handoffs, and people around it into one place.
Three real-family paths
Begin with the arrangement that looks like your week.
1
Daycare & School
Put program hours, exceptions, and pickup and dropoff into the family plan.
2
Caregiver & Nanny
Give regular caregiver time, one-off changes, and the caregiver view one shared home.
3
Both
Read programs, caregiver time, activities, and handoffs as one week.
Free and Premium
The family plan stays useful for free.
Premium adds help with requests, longer memory, briefings, travel alerts, widgets, and schedule-photo or PDF review.

A sample family plan
The answer changes with the moment.
These illustrations use one sample family to show how Milava turns the same plan into a current answer, a week, and a caregiver view.
Product representations, not screenshots. Names and schedule details are illustrative.
Path 1 · Daycare & School
Give programs the same place in the plan as people.
Daycare, school, preschool, camp, and aftercare can be recorded as programs with their own days and hours.
Regular week
Set the program schedule
Add the days, hours, and children for daycare, school, preschool, camp, or aftercare.
Exceptions
Change one date
Record a closure or different hours for one date without replacing the standing program.
Handoffs
Plan pickup and dropoff
Name who drops off, who picks up, where each leg ends, and who takes over.
Path 2 · Caregiver & Nanny
Keep the caregiver schedule clear on both sides.
A family manages the full plan while an invited caregiver gets a view built around the caregiver role.
Schedule
Start with the regular pattern
Add a regular caregiver schedule, then record a shift, day off, sick day, unpaid day, or holiday when the week changes.
Caregiver access
Give each caregiver a separate view
After a family invitation is accepted, a caregiver can sign in to see their own schedule and hours without a subscription or paywall.
Care information
Keep key details within reach
The signed-in caregiver view includes allergies and emergency contacts.
Path 3 · Both
Read the whole care week together.
Programs, caregiver time, child activities, and parents’ plans share the same Schedule.
Schedule
Move between Week and Month
Week and Month views show caregiver time, activities, programs, and parents’ plans.
Now
See who has the kids
Now turns the family schedule into a current answer about who has the kids and what happens next.
Needs Attention
Find uncovered time
When the schedule has a gap, Needs Attention shows the day and hours that still need a plan.
When the plan has a gap
Ask the people you already trust.
Needs Attention identifies the open day and hours. With Premium, a parent can choose trusted backups and send one request for that gap.
Your schedule, beyond Milava
Keep your calendar—and ask it useful questions.
A parent can add a private, read-only Milava calendar subscription to Apple Calendar or Google Calendar for free.
The feed stays read-only
Milava publishes schedule events to the subscribed calendar; the calendar cannot change the family plan in Milava.
Calendar apps refresh subscriptions on their own schedule, so changes can take a few hours to appear.
Treat the private calendar address like a password because anyone with the link can read the schedule events it carries.
Ask Claude or ChatGPT about those events
After the Milava feed appears in Google Calendar, Claude or ChatGPT can answer questions about those calendar events when the assistant has access to that Google Calendar.
For example: “What time does school end Thursday?” or “Who is scheduled Friday morning?”
The assistant can answer only from events the feed carries, never from care notes, medical or allergy information, emergency contacts, phone numbers, pay, or daily reports.
See where a shared calendar fitsOptional AI inside Milava
Ask about the week in plain words.
When optional AI features are on, a parent can ask Milava about the family schedule. Free includes 20 questions a month for the household; Premium has no monthly limit.
Narrow on purpose
Coordination for the care circle you already have.
Milava is not a caregiver marketplace, payroll service, baby tracker, or location-tracking app.
